We like to make everyone's visit to the clubhouse as enjoyable as possible so we have a few simple rules we ask all members, guests and visitors to follow these include:

Dress code: ROSL welcomes everyone to their London clubhouse and for the avoidance of doubt asks that members and their guests adopt smart casual dress in the clubhouse, including smart and presentable jeans, whilst enjoying the Club’s facilities. National equivalents to ROSL’s dress code are always welcome. Sportswear is not permitted in any of the public rooms at any time except, of course, as members walk through on their way to their sports activity. The following items of clothing are not permitted in public areas of the Club at any time: torn, dirty clothes; vests, flip-flops, or any clothing likely to cause offence. Remember to leave coats and outdoor garments in the cloakroom or conference facilities.

Accommodation: Overnight clubhouse accommodation in London is exclusively for the use of members. (Children under the age of 17 are welcome to stay at the club when accompanied by an adult member).

Mobile telephones, laptops and tablets: These should be placed on 'silent' or 'vibration' mode when entering either clubhouse. Users are requested to ensure that keyboard 'clicks' are switched off. Please be sensitive to other members and guests when talking on mobile phones in public spaces and Mountbatten Room, and do not receive or make calls in the Drawing Room, Bar, or dining facilities of the clubhouse.

Settling bills: Please settle bills for club accommodation at Reception with a debit/credit card or cash. In the case of extended stays bills need to be settled on a weekly basis.

Gratuities: Tipping is at the discretion of members.
