ROSL supports a number of scholarships and residencies for young Commonwealth musicians and visual artists. We work with institutions to provide the opportunity to travel and learn with some of the top practitioners in their respective fields, as well providing opportunities to perform or exhibit in concert venues and galleries around the UK.

The recipients of the Pettman/ROSL Scholarship for a New Zealand Chamber Ensemble are chosen through annual auditions in Wellington and Auckland, New Zealand and is open to established ensembles from the main music schools.

The ROSL International Residency with The Art House in Wakefield provide the opportunity for two visual artists to visit the UK for two months and dedicate time to their practices while networking across the country.

2018 ROSL International Residents Joey Chin and Buhle Wonder Mbambo installed work at The Art House in Wakefield.
