Last night saw the opening of our latest exhibition, RBA Rising Stars, in partnership with the Royal Society of British Artists and The Art Society which highlights the work of specially selected talented young artists.

As art lovers amongst our membership and the general public entered the Central Lounge, they were greeted by the work of more than 40 artists, many of whom joined in the festivities and mingled with the assembled crowd with a glass of wine in hand.

Welcomed by ROSL Artistic Director Geoff Parkin, attendees were able to get a glimpse of the future of fine art. The works began with 247 proposed young artists chosen by The Arts Society, from which the RBA selected 21 to be presented on the walls of Over-Seas House. The exhibition also includes the work of 20 semi-finalists aged 35 years or under who entered the esteemed RBA Rome Scholarship 2019. All the artists exhibiting at ROSL are early in their careers and were selected for their exceptional works which combine the highest levels of skill, expression and draughtsmanship using a variety of medium, exploring equally varied subjects.

Take a look below at some photos from the evening and don't worry if you haven't had a chance to come in for a look yet, the exhibition runs until 16 June. If you are interested in buying any of the works, the full list is available to view here
