The 2019 Annual Music Competition is officially underway! As I write, the Arts office is filled with the sounds of this year's entrants, more than 150 of them!

Judging of the first round, in which entrants submit a video of their performance, is currently taking place, ahead of the Semi Finals and Section Finals next month, with concerts every Tuesday evening for six weeks from 12 February.

This is your chance to see the best and brightest young musical talent the Commonwealth has to offer, as musicians from across the world converge on the clubhouse to compete for a chance to perform at the Gold Medal Final in June at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on the Southbank.

As ever there are four solo categories, two chamber music ones, and a special evening for non-UK Commonwealth musicians. The evenings have a great atmosphere, with exceptional music making, and wine for everyone at the end, to debrief and to meet the musicians! A true showcase of what makes ROSL so special.

£12 per concert. £16 for guests. £5 for students. Book here.

Season tickets for all Section Finals available from £60. Book here.
