To commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War, ROSL ARTS presents the music and musicians of the era through three varied concerts. When war broke out in the early 20th century, music was becoming a larger part of society than ever before, with gramophones being increasingly accessible and sheet music more affordable than ever.

Music composed throughout the war changed as patriotism turned into horror as the fighting took more lives. Music articulated the uncertain, optimistic and often sad period. In our three concerts, both the music from the frontlines and the Home Front are explored and appreciated to honour 100 years since the end of one of the largest wars in history.
