V&A Museum of Childhood, Cromwell Road, South Kensington  

The V&A’s Museum of Childhood has activities and events running every day for families to get involved in, but they have stepped up the game for the summer months. On top of the daily activities, from Monday 30 July – Friday 3 August they’re running their Summer Art Camp, every Thursday throughout August they’re running Nordic Summer Family Daysand on Sunday 22 July is their annual Summer Festival.

Hackney City Farm:

Forget you’re in the city for a few hours by visiting Hackney Farm. For over 20 years, they’ve been offering families the chance to get up close with a range of farmyard animals, as well as running regular pottery, mosaic and gardening activities.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Palace Theatre 

Harry, Hermione and Ron are back again, and life still isn’t easy. As Harry continues to grapple with his past, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted.
Tickets start from £20. Please note that this show is very popular and we recommend booking in advance. If you wish to purchase last minute tickets, enter the Friday Forty, which gives you a chance of obtaining some of the best seats in the house for only £40. The Medieval Banquet:

Journey back to the days of old and dine like kings and queens at this spectacular theatrical dinner experience. As well as a four course (yes, four) meal, for over two hours you will be entertained by knights, jesters, strongmen, contortionists and magicians. The venue has begun advertising Sunday as their family day with an earlier showtime of 6pm to ensure little ones are not staying up too late past their bedtime!

If you want to bring friends or family to any of these great attractions, even those who aren't yet ROSL members, you can make use of our new Guest Pass, which will allow you to book a second bedroom when staying at the clubhouse for a non-member friend to try out the club's facilities, usually a member-only benefit. Available every day throughout August, and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in September, October, and November, quote "guest pass" when booking. Please note only one guest pass is available per member.
