With London enjoying another glorious summer's day, ROSL President Lord Luce invited members to join him for Afternoon Tea at the House of Lords.

Entering through Black Rod's Garden, members made their way through the inner court to reach the beautiful Cholmondeley Room, where Master of Ceremonies Barry Dawn announced each member and their guests to Lord Luce and D-G Diana Owen, upon arrival.

Members then took the seats for a beautiful selection of finger sandwiches, scones, and cakes, while Lord Luce gave a speech welcoming everyone to the House of Lords and exploring the great history of Parliament and its role in holding government to account. Diana then followed him, thanking Lord Luce for the gracious invitation and speaking of ROSL's place in the world, as a force for good in promoting international friendship and understanding.

The spectacular weather was more than matched by the venue, with beautiful views out over the Thames, perfect for a few snaps overlooking Lambeth Palace, St Thomas' Hospital, the London Eye, and County Hall. Take a look at some photos below and view the full gallery here
