ROSL ARTS would like to introduce our friends and members to the work of Sophie Ryder as the Hignell Gallery leads a walk to her large outdoor sculptures, concluded with a drink in the gallery amongst her more modest works. Taking place on Wednesday 8 November, from 3-6pm, the walk is free to join.

Hignell Gallery is located less than a ten-minute walk from the London clubhouse and our friendly neighbours have invited us to attend a free tour and reception so they can share the work they do with all of us. Starting at 3pm at Over-Seas House we are going to enjoy a leisurely walk to St James’s Square to visit Sophie Ryder’s sculptural figures of fantasy in the park, following which we will visit the Gallery to see TEPOZTECO, her indoor exhibition of work and enjoy a drink amongst the sculptures. If you are unable to attend the entire event, you are welcome to come and go as you please and the gallery will be welcoming visitors from ROSL until 6pm. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the art on our doorstep and discover new things to enjoy in our local area.
