Last night we celebrated our annual ROSL ARTS Garden Party which, despite the wet weather, had a lovely turn out.

Friends of ROSL ARTS were treated to a glass of prosecco and canapes, followed by a concert by two of our international scholars, Megan Barbetti (flute) and Kristen Cooke (oboe), accompanied by Gamal Khamis, winner of the ROSL Award for Accompanists 2017. The concert was the first international solo performances by both of our scholars, who performed Poulenc and Schubert and rounded off the evening with a stunning performance of Madeleine Dring’s Trio for Flute, Piano and Oboe.

The evening was a chance for Friends of ROSL ARTS to hear about the latest developments in our programme, and hear all about our upcoming 65th celebrations! The evening was concluded with a chance to chat and drink, whilst surrounded by our current exhibition ‘Young Masters’, now with some new additions to the curation.

If you weren’t able to make it to the Garden Party this time, don’t worry! There is another on 6 September for Friends of ROSL ARTS, for more information, look here.
