You can now watch the 70th Annual Music Competition Gold Medal final from the comfort of your own home.
The Gold Medal final was held on 7 July 2022 at London’s Wigmore Hall in the presence of HRH Princess Alexandra, Vice-Patron of the Royal Over-Seas League and long-time supporter of the competition. Four soloists competed in the impressive final, Daniel Scott recorder, Jack Hancher guitar, James Atkinson baritone and George Todică piano. The adjudicators John Gilhooly CBE (chair), Geoff Parkin, Melvyn Tan, Gavin Henderson CBE, Elizabeth Kenny, Barbara Law, Soraya Mafi, Andrew Burke and Rachel van Walsum had the task of choosing the winner and the £15,000 award.
