Last night, members, guests and artists gathered at Over-Seas House for the launch of our latest exhibition, Star Students, in partnership with the Arts Society and the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA).

Returning the fourth year, the exhibition presents the work of 39 young artists, chosen from over 200 entries to the RBA Star Students competition, which encourages aspiring young artists.

Each work was chosen for its demonstration of the highest levels of skill, expression and draughtsmanship using a variety of media and exploring equally varied subjects.

As members and guests viewed the exhibition, which fills the Central Lounge and Gibbs Staircase, they were able to chat to some of the exhibition artists about their work. The event was very well attended, with a large contingent of younger members joining in as part of their regular 'First Thursdays' series of events.
