ROSL ARTS is very proud to share the first list of selected artists to be exhibiting at the 10th Liverpool Biennial. We are especially proud as our 2017 visual art Scholar Madiha Aijaz, from Pakistan, is a participating artist with the support of ROSL ARTS and the ROSL membership.

Art is often seen as in need of support, but what about when musicians are doing the supporting? Musicians without Borders works with local musicians and organisations in war-torn countries to build bridges of reconciliation between societies. In the latest edition of Overseas, Abi Millar asks Laura Hassler, the founder and director, how this can be achieved.

Our Younger Members are part of a lively social scene for the under 35s. They are organised in part by the club, but at the helm are a dedicated committee made up of Younger Members who have got involved with various parts of the Royal Over-Seas League, whether it’s helping at events or sitting on Central Council.

A Saturday stroll has never been quite like this!  Following art historian, author and TV presenter Richard Stemp through the streets of Mayfair and Soho, members were invited to  to explore the two sides of the upcoming Art Fairs, Frieze London and Frieze Masters, as part of a tour by ROSL ARTS and Art History UK. All the visits were planned to look at both the contemporary side of the art world as well as the historic that has come before and set the scene.

Mrs Marjorie Harvey, former Honorary Secretary of the Bournemouth and District Branch of the Royal Over-Seas League, has died peacefully aged 98.
