Last night, members gathered around the Christmas Tree in the Princess Alexandra Hall to indulge in mulled wine, mince pies and some classic carols.
With ROSL Annual Music Competition alum Chad Vindin on piano, Artistic Director introduced favourites such as Away in a Manger, Ding Dong Merrily On High, Silent Night and Once in Royal David's City.
Every third carol would be sung by the newly formed ROSL Community Carol, making their debut last night, and ably led by their Musical Director Joanna Arnold. Formed by members, for members, they were warmly received by the audience. The choir plans to hold 'A Night at the Opera' concert at the end of March, and will be holding rehearsals 8 & 22 January, 5 & 19 February, and 4 &18 March 2020.
