Last night, the Drawing Room was the venue for the annual Younger Members' Reception, which gives prospective and recently-joined members a chance to find out more about the work of ROSL, meet their fellow younger members and get involved in the group's activities.
Hosted by the Younger Member Committee, attendees were welcomed by Chair Samantha Pickett, who outlined the benefits of membership for people under 35 and talked a little bit about the events programme that takes place throughout the year, both at ROSL and as part of the Inter-Club network.
On the first Thursday of every month, events such as garden parties, cognac and whiskey tastings, and other social gatherings take place at ROSL. Next up, the younger members will meet for Christmas Dinner on Tursday 5 December. Book your tickets here.
After the speeches, members chatted over wine and nibbles, and had the opportunity to speak to members of ROSL staff from the Membership and ARTS teams.
