Our 2019 ROSL Recitals series at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe is now well-underway, with our exceptional AMC alumni and scholars coming together to delight the crowds.
Things kicked off on Monday with our first 'Bach for Breakfast' concert, at which 2018 Annual Music Competition Gold Medal winner Jonathan Radford saxophone and 1998 Accompanist Prize winner Stephen de Pledge piano got things going with a bang!

This was the first of three concerts that day, and everyday, with a 9.30am breakfast concert of Bach or Beethoven, a 2pm after lunch concert of Chopin, Rachmaninov, or Gershwin, and a 4pm teatime concert of Mozart, Brahms or Debussy.

Jonathan and Stephen have been joined by some exceptional talent this week; including Florian Mitrea piano, Jennifer Witton soprano, Emily Sun violin, Shannon Rhodes violin, Ashley Fripp piano, the Marmen Quartet, and Simon Lepper piano, all ROSL prizewinners.
Last night, to celebrate 20 years of ROSL's recital series at the Fringe, a special gala concert was held, which saw Jennifer, Simon and the Marmen Quartet joined by cellist John Myerscough and 2011 AMC Gold Medal winner Sean Shibe guitar, followed by a drinks reception at which the musicians mingled with the audience.
