Winners of the 2017 Mixed Ensembles prize at the ROSL Annual Music Competition, Kabantu, will be returning to the Princess Alexandra Hall on Tuesday 25 June for the latest in our ROSL Rush Hour concert series.

Their particular blend of unravelling new marriages of music from around the globe to celebrate the space where different cultures collaborate, has been hugely popular with audiences every time they have come to ROSL. Take a look below at Kabantu performing Ulidzile!

Since winning the mixed ensembles prize in 2017, Kabantu have been regular visitors to ROSL, helping the organisation achieve its aim of 'giving service to humanity at large'. Today, we achieve these aims through the support of young artists and musicians, of which Kabantu are beneficiaries, and also through education projects. It was the latter which the group have been helping with; hosting a workshop for the children of Riverley Primary School in London, teaching the pupils about music making around the world. See how the children got on below.
