We have a little over a week left for applications to our International Residency with The Art House in Wakefield. If you're an artist early in your career from outside the UK, this could be a great opportunity for you to work, network and develop as part of our fully-funded residency programme.
Proposals are welcomed from artists working in all types of contemporary visual arts; including photography, new media, fine art, artists’ moving image, live art, crafts, design, architecture, site-specific, socially engaged and interdisciplinary practices. Last year we welcomed South African painter, Buhle Mbambo and Singaporean visual artist and writer, Joey Chin who embraced the opportunity, exhibiting both at Manchester Contemporary and in the project space of The Art House in Wakefield. We are looking forward to what our 2019 applications will bring, continuing our legacy of supporting and sharing international creativity.
Find out more and apply here, the closing date is Monday 29 April at 5pm. Hear how Joey Chin got on as part of last year's intake, below.
