It's a Tuesday but there's no concert on at ROSL, shock horror! Fear not, the Annual Music Competition Section Finals may have finished last week, but it won't be long until the Princess Alexandra Hall is filled with music once again. The ROSL Rush Hour concert series kicks off next Tuesday 2 April with a performance from one of the world's most celebrated ensembles; Britten Sinfonia!

Members Joy Farrall clarinet, Bridget Carey viola, and Clíodna Shanahan piano will be kicking off the new series in style with an hour-long concert designed to soothe those commuter blues.

Their programme of Bliss Sonata for viola & piano, Bruch 8 Pieces for clarinet, viola & piano, and Schumann Märchenerzählungen, Op.132 (for clarinet, viola & piano) will showcase the best of intimate romantic chamber music and leave you ready to face the journey home.

Not quite ready to head out into the night after the concert, then why not make an evening of it with a special two or three-course set meal, all included in the ticket price? Take a look at the menu here.

You can book tickets for just the concert, or for both the concert and the meal here.

And don't forget, Britten Sinfonia are just the first of our new ROSL Rush Hour series. Find out who else is coming up here.
