Sir David Brewer is to retire as ROSL Chairman at the AGM on 9 May 2019. Sir David was appointed in 2016 and during his tenure at ROSL attended numerous branch events, represented the organisation at Commonwealth events and was an avid supporter of the Annual Music Competition Gold Medal Final.
ROSL would like to take this opportunity to thank Sir David for his support and dedication to the post of Chairman. Sir David said: "I have enjoyed meeting members and learning all about ROSL's work, including our very important network of branches in the UK and across the Commonwealth. It has been so very rewarding to be involved in the Annual Music Competition Grand Final and witness the exceptional talent of so many young, Commonwealth musicians. The work that ROSL does to support the arts and education projects across the world is first class, and I wish the organisation every success for the future."
ROSL President, Lord Luce, is working with Sir David and Vice Chairman, Professor Meryll Dean, to find our next Chairman.
