Summer is a busy time in the city and the next two weekends are no different, with several road closures planned near the clubhouse.
Prudential Ride London: Saturday 28 – 29 July
Over this weekend the Prudential Ride London cycling festival returns to the city. While this will be a great spectacle, with a series of stands having been set up in Green Park, members and guests should also expect it to be busier in the city centre this weekend.
Constitution Hill, Horse Guards Road, Birdcage Walk, Great George Street, Link Road, and Spur Road will all be closed from 4am on Saturday 28 July and will reopen at 6am on Monday 30 July.
The Strand, Horse Guards Avenue, Whitehall, Parliament Street, Parliament Square – northside, Trafalgar Square, Cockspur Street, Duncannon Street, Pall Mall East, and Waterloo Place will all be shut from 7am on Saturday 28 July and will reopen at 7.30pm.
The Mall between Queen’s Gardens and Horse Guard’s Road, Marlborough Road will be closed from 7.30am on Friday 27 July.

London Triathlon: Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 August
Next weekend will see thousands descend on the area for the London Triathlon, which again will be great for members and guests to watch but please do be aware of closures and disruptions to public transport.
On Saturday 4 August Victoria Enbankment will be closed in both directions, as will Upper Thames Street, Lower Thames Street, and Byward Street to Tower Hill. This closure includes the cycle super highway between Blackfriars Bridge and Tower Bridge.
On Sunday 5 August from 5am to 12:30pm Victoria Embankment, Upper and Lower Thames Street, Byward Street, and the eastbound carriageway of East Smithfields are closed. No access north or south along these sections of road will be possible during this time. Tower Bridge can only be accessed from the south for local traffic only. The cycle super highway will also be closed between Blackfriars Bridge and Tower Bridge.
