It was clear that our members wanted to join in the celebrations on Saturday, with people from all over the world coming together at the clubhouse to enjoy the festivities. Such was the demand that we ran three separate events throughout the building, to make sure everyone had the opportunity to be a part of the special day.
As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle became the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, an estimated 1.9 billion people watched on around the world, including at a special screening in the Princess Alexandra Hall. Members also watched on from the Hall of India and Pakistan over teas, coffees and pastries.
