We're barely three concerts into the 34-concert series 'Music & More @ 100 Princes Street', being held over the next fortnight as ROSL ARTS' contribution to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and already the first review has arrived.
The Herald called the third concert 'a rare treat', which featured baritone Nicholas Mogg and mezzo-soprano Helen Sherman treating the audience to operatic arias from Mozart and Rossini, accompanied by pianist Chad Vindin. The Herald's Hazel Rowland said "Mogg’s exaggerated facial expressions during his two arias from The Magic Flute were entirely in keeping with his comic character," while "The audience were also stunned by Sherman’s brilliantly dramatic Smanie implacabili from Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, while in Parto Parto from Mozart’s La Clemanza di Tito, she managed to both express pain and sound exquisite."
