Continuing ROSL's celebration of the 70th anniversary of Indian Independence, members can enjoy a two-part lecture series from Abhaey Singh, founder of the Indian Debating Union.

Part One: India Renewed on 13 July will explore the tectonic shifts in Indian politics, media and civil society and what this means for the future.

Part Two: Demystifying India on 3 August will focus on deconstructing myths about India by exploring Hindu philosophy, the foundations of Dharmic culture and India’s path-breaking contributions to civilisation. This wonderful lecture will conclude by exploring the effects of a resurgent India on the world, and why it matters to people in Britain.
