Those of you who have visited the London clubhouse this week may have wondered what the noise emanating from the top of the Gibbs staircase has been; it's the sound of progress on the Wrench Room renovations, which are now well underway. 

When complete, members will be able to enjoy a new relaxed daytime lounge area, which can be used to make calls and work on your devices, all in comfortable surrounding. The good news is remedial works have now been completed, so the clubhouse should return to its usual oasis of calm, decorating will begin in earnest on Monday 8th May, with the new carpet installed the following week and finally the new furniture will arrive ready for the room to re-open circa 24 May.
