Last week 2022 ROSL AMC Overseas Award winner, Australian soprano Cassandra Wright visited the Clubhouse to meet Royal College of Art graduate, Korean glass artist Sogon Kim.
On a beautiful sunny Friday at ROSL Clubhouse, our ROSL ARTS team united Australian soprano Cassandra Wright, recipient of this year's Lorna Viol Memorial Award for the Most Outstanding Musician from Overseas at the Annual Music Competition, with Korean glass artist Sogon Kim, who received our 2022 RCA Ceramics & Glass Award for her sculpture Celestial; Red #3.

Since 1985 ROSL have annually purchased an artwork from a graduating MA Ceramics & Glass student at Royal College of Art to be awarded to the winner of the Overseas Prize. Celestial; Red #3, purchased at the 2022 Royal College of Art Degree Show is now in the possession of its proud new owner as a trophy representation of Cassandra's achievements in the competition. We wish to send our congratulations to both Cassandra and Sogon!
A selection of Sogon Kim's work will be exhibited as a part of group art exhibition Balancing Bird, opening in at ROSL Clubhouse this December.
