With the government's roadmap out of lockdown announced and the vaccination programme continuing, ROSL has been able to re-schedule the dates for the 2021 Annual Music Competition to take place from mid-September. 

Taking place every Tuesday evening for six weeks from 14 September until 26 October, the AMC is one of the world's best showcases of the next generation of classical musicians from around the Commonwealth.

Last year, it was British violinist Eleanor Corr who took the Gold Medal and £20,000 in prize money. Read her story here

In 2021, more than £80,000 in prize money will be available to competitors, as well as professional development and performance opportunities. This year, musicians representing the following nations and disciplines are represented:
