Due to ongoing works on the heating system to make sure the clubhouse is warm and cosy on your return, we will now open on the morning of Saturday 5 December.

In the clubhouse

At the clubhouse, you can enjoy our accommodation, food and drink, and festive events taking place throughout December and the New Year.

Coming up, we have concerts from the Hermes Experiment on 8 December, celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday on 15 December, or a walking tour of the local area on Boxing Day. Take a look at the full list of upcoming events here.

All day food and drink service will be available from the Duke of York Bar, offering a selection of hot and cold options. This comes ahead of the complete overhaul of our food and drink offering, which will be available in the New Year. All new and exciting menus will be available to enjoy whether you’re popping in for lunch, having a drink after work, bringing friends for dinner, or hosting an event at the clubhouse, you can expect some new and exciting menus. Keep an eye out for more details as they become available.

If you’re looking for somewhere to work, The Drawing Room will also feature all-new furniture, as part of its renovation, thanks to a generous legacy donation from Mrs Audrey Roberts. If you’re looking for more formal office space, we are also converting some bedroom space into offices with 2-3 desk spaces. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. In the local area

The festive season is well and truly underway in London, with the streets and shopfronts featuring spectacular decorations to raise our spirits. The lights along Jermyn Street and displays in the windows of Fortnum & Mason, both just a stone’s throw from the clubhouse, are particularly impressive. Why not come and stay at the clubhouse and use it as a jumping off point to make the most of all the city has to offer.

The delayed Summer Exhibition, aptly named the Winter Exhibition, is now up and running at the RA, also just around the corner. You can book tickets at royalacademy.org.uk. There is nothing more traditional than going to see The Nutcracker at the The Royal Opera House. A Covid-safe production of Peter Wright’s two-act retelling of the classic Christmas tale has been reworked to make it safe for the performers, but still features the highlights of the story, plus newly choreographed scenes. Book tickets at roh.org.uk

We have special accommodation offers running at the moment so you can make the most of the festive season.

At Christmas

Speaking of which, ROSL has festive two-and three-day packages over Christmas which take the stress of out Christmas. You can sit back and relax, enjoy drinks receptions, festive film screenings, Christmas dinner, winter walks, and even a visit from Father Christmas, while we worry about the washing up! Take a look at full details of our packages here.
