Dear members,
We are delighted to let you know that we are aiming to reopen Over-Seas House on Monday 3 August.
We are currently working to make sure our facilities are COVID-safe for your return and in line with government guidelines.
That means some of the services we offer may change while social distancing remains in place. We will share details with you in the coming weeks of what will be on offer at the clubhouse, what our responsibilities are to you and what your responsibilities are to keep yourselves, each other and staff safe during your visit.
Please keep an eye out for future emails and on our website as more information becomes available.
Our estates team has taken the opportunity during the closure to carry out much of the compliance work that would otherwise be disruptive while open, such as improvements to the electrical infrastructure, plumbing and asbestos removal, among others. Ongoing developments to look forward to include Drawing Room redecoration and refurbishment, generously paid for by a legacy donation from Mrs Audrey Roberts, courtyard resurfacing, garden renovations, and more. Donations from members to allow us to continue this work are always welcome.
We will look forward to seeing you back in the club soon. The wait is nearly over!
The ROSL Team
