The Royal Over-Seas League are proud to once again host RBA Star Students, an exhibition developed by two respected and prestigious organisations, The Arts Society and the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA).
The Arts Society initially proposed 247 young artists for the exhibition, from which the RBA selected 21 to be presented on the walls of Over-Seas House, London. The exhibition will also host twenty semi-finalists selected from the entries to the RBA Rome Scholarship 2019. This is a prestigious scholarship awarded to an artist aged 35 years or under, offering an enriching learning experience for an emerging artist.
The artists exhibiting at ROSL were selected for their exceptional works which combine the highest levels of skill, expression and draughtsmanship using a variety of medium exploring equally varied subjects. This is the third year of RBA Star Students at Over-Seas house and we are excited to offer our members and friends another glimpse into the future of fine art.
Congratulations to the 21 students selected for the RBA Rising Stars 2019:
Genevieve Aspinall, Robert Bowman, Tia Brown, Meg Burridge, Grace Burns, Isabel Collins, Anna Ellerbeck, Holly Gallant, Rachel Howarth, George Hunt, Nadia Jenkins, Francesca Krum, George Lees O'Neil, Amber Li, Livia Robinson, Megan Rodger, Olivia Marshall, Robert Mill, Abigail Morton, Maisy Venn, and Beth Whell.
