Following the conclusion of building investigations over the last few months, it is with great sadness we must announce ROSL's Edinburgh Clubhouse will not reopen and will be sold. This difficult decision was taken by Central Council based on the estimated cost of the necessary renovations that would be needed to bring the building at 100 Princes Street up to the standard expected from our members, as well as to meet all current health and safety and building regulations. Read the full explanation for Central Council's decision here.
The Royal Scots Club
Members in Scotland will still have a place to call home when in Edinburgh, the Royal Scots Club, situated at 29-31 Abercromby Place. All members will receive a 20% discount when using the Royal Scots Club until the end of 2018. Once the sale of ROSL's Edinburgh clubhouse has been completed, there will be an opportunity to review again how best to support members across Scotland and the north of England.
The Royal Scots Club will be the venue for Edinburgh Branch events going forward. The committee will continue to host regular coffee mornings, arts lunches and member dinners. Find out more about the branch here, including the members of the committee and the upcoming programme of events.
ROSL ARTS at the Fringe
