23 January – 8 March 2018

The Royal Over-Seas League hosted RBA Star Students, an exhibition of artwork by talented school students all under the age of 18. Developed by two respected and prestigious organisations, The Arts Society (formerly NADFAS) and the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), the exhibition promoted 20 aspiring young artists who were initially proposed by The Arts Society, to then be selected by the RBA from 272 entries. The finalists presented at ROSL were selected for their exceptional works which combine the highest levels of skill, expression and draughtsmanship using a variety of medium exploring equally varied subjects. This was the second year that this exhibition came to Over-Seas house and  offered our members and friends glimpse into the future of fine art.

Following ROSL, the works went on display at the Framers Gallery from the 13th to 17th March and then the Mall Galleries from 20th to 31st March, where they sat alongside the work of professional artists at the RBA’s Annual Exhibition.
